The Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency, ODSFA, Mr Divine Ogbonnaya, has commended Sunshine Queens for their qualification for the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup.
The Owena Whales beat Plateau United Queens 2-0 in the Round of 16 clash.
Ogbonnaya praised the players for their resilience and determination to get the victory in the game.
He admitted that Plateau United Queens are not an easy team despite the scoreline.
”It’s a game that ought to produce more goals ,but overall I’m satisfied with you girls,” Ogbonnaya was quoted by Blitzksports.
“The opponents are not push overs either , I’m glad we’ve progressed.”
