Tinubu spent $150m to stop Trump’s intervention in Nigeria —Security expert alleges [VIDEO]

Public affairs analyst, Ladi Peter Thompson, has alleged that the administration of President Bola Tinubu spent over $150 million in the United States to prevent possible intervention by US President, Donald Trump, over killings in Nigeria.
Thompson made this allegation in a video that surfaced on X on Thursday.
He was speaking on the United States’ strikes on Christmas Day of 2025, stating that the Nigerian government flooded the US with money to deny that there was a Christian genocide.
According to him, Nigeria, which would not take care of its citizens at home, officially publicly released $10 million to a lobby firm, adding that Nigeria’s money in Washington that has been sent to neutralize what US Trump was doing was almost $150 million.
“We all know that we have more than enough documentation, more than enough clout to show that there really was a Christian genocide going on, and then later on.
“President Bola Tinubu pumped over $150 million into Washington to stop US president Donald Trump’s intervention to Nigeria,” he said.
