VIDEO: Bandits Gifted Me ₦100k, Now They Want ₦100m — Man Cries Out

A Nigerian man, Odumayo Olufemi, has raised alarm after alleging that he received ₦100,000 from individuals he described as bandits during a TikTok live session, who later demanded ₦100 million from him.
In a video circulating on social media, Olufemi said he joined the live session on June 6 after the hosts, whom he claimed were bandits, promised to give money to anyone who followed their page.
He explained that what initially appeared to be a joke later became disturbing after he received the ₦100,000 and was subsequently contacted with a demand for ₦100 million.
Olufemi appealed for help from Nigerians, alleging that the demand came shortly after the payment was made, and that other participants in the live session also received similar transfers.
He said, “I have come to confess, I came across some bandits during a live session yesterday, 6th June.
During the live session they promised anyone who follows their page money and I followed the page. We thought it was a joke. He was a young man.
“As soon as I received the money I got an email. Nigerians, please come to my rescue. They are demanding N100,000,000.00.
“Please come to my rescue. I also received money. I was amongst the people who joined the live session. They gave me N100,000.00 and are now demanding N100,000,000.00.”
