“We Are the Real Problem” – Stan Nze Reacts as Multiple Phones Go Missing at Alexx Ekubo’s Memorial

- Actor Stan Nze has reacted to reports that several phones were stolen during Alexx Ekubo’s service of songs in Lagos.
- The actor lamented the incident and argued that Nigerians should not blame only the government for the country’s challenges, insisting that citizens must also take responsibility for their actions.
Nollywood actor Stan Nze has expressed disappointment following reports that several phones were stolen during the service of songs held in honour of late actor Alexx Ekubo in Lekki, Lagos State.
Speaking about the incident, Stan Nze lamented that more than five phones reportedly went missing during the emotional gathering, where family, friends and colleagues had assembled to mourn the late actor.
“How can you come to a service of songs where people are mourning and grieving for the late Alexx Ekubo and you steal phones? More than five phones were missing yesterday,” he said.
The actor argued that Nigerians often blame the government for the country’s problems while overlooking the role citizens play in perpetuating negative behaviour.
“We are always complaining about the government, but if we chase everyone from the government, who will enter there? Still the citizens,” he added.
His comments come amid reports that several attendees, including actresses Bam Bam and Susan Peters, allegedly lost their phones during the memorial event.

They stole among themselves. I don’t think there is anybody below that class that was there yesterday.
@Gr81das
Why do I have a feeling that some bloggers can actually steal a phone so they can find controversial stories to post for engagement?
@Lloydpool33
They stole it because they don’t have it, so who’s to blame if an average Nigerian can’t afford a good smartphone?
@adebolajohn
The content creators at the location were just too much. Putting cameras in people’s faces even when it was obvious they didn’t want to be filmed.
@Aria1stdota
