“You Asked For Divorce, Now Show Up” – Peggy Ovire Calls Out Fredrick Leonard, Alleges Affair With Married Woman

Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly addressed her ongoing marital issues with estranged husband Fredrick Leonard, accusing him of having an affair with a married woman and urging him to appear in court for their divorce proceedings.

In a series of posts shared on her social media pages, Peggy narrated a scenario involving a husband allegedly involved with a married woman, claiming that what initially appeared to be a friendship later turned out to be much more.

According to her, the married woman had attended their wedding, and at the time, she believed there was nothing inappropriate about the relationship.

“THIS MARRIED SIDECHICK EVEN ATTENDED YOUR WEDDING AND YOU HAD NO PROBLEM WITH IT BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST FRIENDS.

BUT NOW YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF BOTH OF THEM MEETING UP IN HOTELS DOING STUFF AND YOUR SO CALLED HUSBAND TELLING HER HOW MUCH HE MISSES HER WHILE HE IS STILL MARRIED TO YOU.

WOULD YOU REMAIN MARRIED TO SUCH MAN?” she wrote.

In another post, the actress alleged that she eventually discovered evidence showing that the relationship between her husband and the woman went beyond friendship.

“BUT ONE DAY AS GOD WILL HAVE IT, YOU GOT EVIDENCE AND FOUND OUT YOUR HUSBAND AND THE SAID LADY WERE NEVER JUST FRIENDS, HE HAS BEEN SLEEPING WITH THE MARRIED WOMAN. THEY CONSTANTLY MEET UP EITHER IN HIS APARTMENT WHEN HE GOES TO WORK, OR IN A HOTEL.

SHE ALSO LEAVES HER HUSBAND’S HOUSE TO GO MEET HIM IN HIS APARTMENT & IN HOTELS.”

Peggy further claimed that her husband often praised the woman publicly while allegedly downplaying her significance in private conversations.

“WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU FIND OUT THAT THE MAN YOU ARE DATING IS SLEEPING WITH A MARRIED WOMAN WITH KIDS?

YOU ASKED HIM ABOUT IT BUT HE TOTALLY DENIES IT SAYING THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS AND YOU COMPLETELY BELIEVED HIM.”

The actress also addressed the ongoing divorce proceedings, accusing Fredrick Leonard of failing to personally appear after being served court papers.

“So called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man’s wife with 4 children, you ran to a blogger that I was lying but when you were served & saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen 1 out of many, yet refused to show up in court but sent your lawyer.”

She concluded with a direct message to the actor, urging him not to avoid the next court date.

“You said you wanted a divorce, yet you didn’t show up when you were served, please don’t avoid customary court for the 2nd time on June 23rd because I’m coming with receipts & let’s make this Divorce done & dusted. So both of you can finally be together.”
