10 dead after plane crash in the Bahamas

NORTH ANDROS, Bahamas — Bahamian authorities reported 10 people died after a Flamingo Air Cessna 402 crashed on Friday in North Andros Island, authorities said.

The plane departed from the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau and crashed before reaching San Andros Airport, according to the Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority of the Bahamas.

After another Flamingo Air plane caught fire on Friday in Nassau, Bahamian authorities temporarily suspended the airline’s license.
