The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the selection interview into the Air Force Military School (AFMS), Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), Jos, and other Nigerian Air Force Secondary Schools, for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The announcement was made in a public notice issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, and shared on the NAF’s official Facebook page.
According to the statement, successful candidates are to begin to collect their interview invitation letters from their respective chosen schools from July 6, 2026.
The NAF also announced the interview schedule for the shortlisted candidates.
For the Air Force Military School (AFMS) and the Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), Jos, Plateau State, the exercise will be conducted in two batches. Candidates from Abia to Kano States in chronical order are scheduled to attend the selection interview between August 3 and 7, 2026, while those from Katsina to Zamfara States will be interviewed from August 7 to 11, 2026.
The selection interview for candidates seeking admission into other Nigerian Air Force Secondary Schools nationwide is scheduled for August 18, 2026.
The Air Force urged candidates and their parents or guardians to check the list of successful candidates and obtain additional information through the official Nigerian Air Force Education website.
In the statement, the Service said, “The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of successful candidates shortlisted for the selection interview into the Air Force Military School (AFMS), Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), Jos, and other Nigerian Air Force Secondary Schools for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.”
It added that, “Successful candidates are to collect their interview invitation letters from their chosen schools with effect from 6 July 2026.”
The NAF advised all shortlisted candidates to adhere strictly to the interview schedule and follow all instructions provided in their invitation letters and on the official admissions portal.
