Financial adviser and social commentator GehGeh has shared his views on the recent marital issues between Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her estranged husband, Bobby Maris.
In a video circulating online, GehGeh addressed the situation while expressing his opinion on women who undergo Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures. He claimed that some women choose to have the cosmetic surgery not because of their husbands, but to gain attention from other men.
According to the commentator, men should not assume that every decision made by their partners is intended to please them, adding that some relationships are built on conditions rather than unconditional love.
“I have said it before. Anytime a woman does BBL, she didn’t do it because of her husband. She did it to get attention from other men,” he stated.
GehGeh also argued that some men mistakenly believe that taking financial responsibility in a relationship guarantees permanent loyalty from their partners. He noted that such beliefs may not align with the realities of modern relationships.
He advised men to recognize when they are no longer respected or appreciated in a relationship and be prepared to leave when necessary. He further cautioned men against becoming overly dependent on their partners.
Speaking on Uche Ogbodo’s situation, GehGeh claimed that a woman who genuinely loves her partner should be willing to support his growth using her resources, influence, or connections, especially during difficult times.
“If you’re with a woman who cannot use her money, status or connections to upgrade you, then dump her because that kind of woman does not love you,” he added.
His comments followed Uche Ogbodo’s announcement that her marriage to Bobby Maris had ended. The actress revealed that she was “tired of being married to a princess” after spending over eight years together.
