Nigerian singer and songwriter Brymo has reignited his long-running feud with fellow Afrobeats star Burna Boy, declaring that the Grammy-winning artist must answer for what he described as an insult directed at him.
The singer made the remarks during a recent appearance on the NotJustOk Podcast, where he reflected on the public fallout between the two musicians and insisted that he has not forgotten the controversy.
According to Brymo, Burna Boy crossed the line when he referenced him in a viral freestyle released during their dispute, adding that he still intends to respond in his own way.
The disagreement between the two artists dates back to 2023, when Brymo alleged that Burna Boy had borrowed creative ideas from his work without giving him credit.

“You’re too small, who is your mate?”
The singer went on to dismiss Burna Boy’s influence, stating that he was not intimidated by the people or groups the Grammy winner might be associated with.
“I don’t care what fraternity you belong to,” he declared.
Brymo further alleged that Burna Boy had wronged him and warned that he intended to seek revenge, although he did not explain what form that revenge would take.
“He has wronged me and I must take revenge,” he said.
Despite the strong comments, Brymo did not indicate that he planned to release a diss track or take any legal action against Burna Boy.
Instead, his remarks appeared to reflect lingering resentment over the exchange that began nearly three years ago.
