BTS Memorabilia Raises $300,000 at Charity Auction as Justin Bieber’s World Cup Sneakers Sell for $26,400

BTS dominated Christie’s FIFA World Cup charity auction after memorabilia worn by the K-pop supergroup raised more than $300,000 for children’s education and football programmes worldwide.
The group’s collection brought in a total of $300,300, led by Jimin’s customised jersey, which sold for $110,000. Other standout sales included items worn by V and Jung Kook, each fetching $46,200, alongside clothing and accessories from RM, Jin, Suga and j-hope.
Justin Bieber also attracted strong bids after the custom SKYLRK “Matter Daddy” sneakers he wore during his performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show sold for $26,400. The low-top shoes, originally valued at between $2,000 and $4,000, sold for more than 10 times their estimated price.
The auction, organised by Christie’s as part of its One Goal initiative, featured memorabilia from performers at the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show, including Madonna, Shakira, Burna Boy and Chris Martin of Coldplay.
Other notable sales included Madonna’s embellished fingerless gloves, which fetched $41,800, and Shakira’s yellow costume from her Dai Dai music video, which sold for $8,250. Proceeds from the auction will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a $100 million initiative expanding access to education and football for children around the world.
