Chocolate City Staffer Sues Odumodublvck Over Alleged Assault At Lagos Festival

A staff member of record label Chocolate City Limited has filed a lawsuit at the Lagos State High Court against Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ogbodo, popularly known as Odumodublvck, over an alleged assault during a music festival in Lagos.

The claimant, who works as a project manager and public relations officer for the record label, alleged that the incident occurred on December 22, 2025, at the Flytime Music Festival held at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

According to court documents dated June 6, 2026, what began as a conversation backstage escalated into verbal threats and physical aggression by the rapper, resulting in physical pain, shock, and emotional distress for the record label employee.

The claimant further stated that an associate of the rapper poured an alcoholic drink on him during the altercation, leading to medical treatment that required him to wear a neck support and observe strict rest, which disrupted his professional work.

Following a formal demand for redress by his solicitors, the claimant filed the suit seeking damages for medical complications, lost productivity, and professional disruption.

This legal action comes as Odumodublvck faces a separate assault suit filed by another individual, Levi Ogbogiri, which is currently pending before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
