Fidan meets NATO allies, Ukraine, Gulf partners in Ankara

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Tuesday took part in two high-level ministerial meetings held alongside the NATO Leaders’ Summit in Ankara, joining discussions with allies, Ukraine and partners from the Gulf region.
According to the Turkish foreign ministry, Fidan attended the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting at the level of foreign ministers, where allies met with Ukrainian representatives on the sidelines of the summit.
He also participated in the NATO Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) foreign ministers meeting, which brings together NATO and partner countries from the Gulf region to strengthen political and security cooperation.
The meetings formed part of the 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit hosted by Türkiye in the capital.
