Filmmaker Sandra Bremaud, Angel Ayoka Improve Learning Conditions With School Equipment Donation

‎Filmmaker Sandra Bremaud has donated desks and chairs to students of Odogunyan Senior Grammar School, Ikorodu, Lagos, in a bid to improve the learning environment for students.

‎The donation, facilitated through SBE Productions in partnership with Ernest Bremaud and Angel Ayoka, was in fulfilment of a promise made following a visit to the school last year.

‎‎Speaking about the initiative, Bremaud recalled that during the earlier visit, when bags, sandals, writing materials, and other essentials were distributed, her team observed that many students lacked adequate desks and chairs.

‎“While interacting with the students and teachers, we noticed a need that couldn’t be ignored; many students lacked adequate chairs and desks for learning,” she said.

‎‎The filmmaker explained that rather than waiting for others to address the challenge, the team decided to intervene.

‎‎“Rather than waiting for someone else to solve the problem, Angel Ayoka and SBE Productions chose to become part of the solution. Today, by God’s grace, we returned to fulfil that promise, donating chairs to help create a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for the students,” she added.

‎Bremaud noted that meaningful change does not always require large-scale interventions, stressing that individuals can make a difference by responding to needs within their communities.

‎“Every child deserves to learn with dignity. Every act of kindness creates a ripple of hope,” she said.

‎The gesture was welcomed by the school community, with students and teachers expressing appreciation for the support.
