The Forum of APC Renewed Hope Appointees has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State and mobilising support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The resolution was reached during the forum’s inaugural meeting held at the Kano State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

In a communiqué issued after the meeting, the forum urged residents of Kano State to remain united, peaceful and continue supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that such support would contribute to the state’s and the nation’s continued development.

The forum also congratulated President Tinubu on his emergence as the APC presidential candidate for the 2027 election, alongside Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate. Members pledged to work towards delivering the highest possible votes for the APC presidential ticket in Kano State during the election.

Similarly, the forum congratulated Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and his deputy, Murtala Sule Garo, on their emergence as the party’s gubernatorial candidates. It also extended congratulations to APC candidates for the National and State Assemblies.

The appointees reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the implementation of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and pledged alignment with the Kano First Agenda, which they said complements the national development objectives of the Tinubu administration.

The inaugural meeting was convened at the instance of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and was attended by the immediate past APC National Chairman and former Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; the APC State Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa; ministers, heads of federal agencies and parastatals, senior presidential aides, board members and other federal political appointees from Kano State.
