GTCO Unveils Programmes For 16th Annual Autism Conference

Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) Plc, under its Orange Ribbon Initiative, on Wednesday in Lagos, announced programmes and activities lined up for the 16th Annual Autism Conference.
The conference theme is “Acceptance in Action: From Family to Classroom to Workplace to Public Spaces.”
Speaking at the media conference, the Head of Communications at GTCO, Oyinade Adegite, said the Orange Ribbon Initiative had, over the past sixteen years, walked alongside families navigating autism, witnessing what she described as the resilience of individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the transformation of many homes into spaces of genuine belonging.
According to the convener, the conference will feature discussions, several paper presentations and experience sharing, among others.
Some of the facilitators will include Camille Proctor, an Autism Advocate, Public Speaker and Founder of The Color of Autism Foundation; Lanre Duyile, President and CEO of Behaviorprise Consulting Inc., Ontario, Canada; Dr. Bernadette Kilo, an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Consultant; Ade Otubanjo, a Speech Pathologist; and Tomi Agboola-Odeleye, a Speech Therapist.
Others include Solape Azazi, an International Behaviour Analyst and Founder of Cradle Lounge Special Needs Initiative; Osezusi Bolodeoku, also an International Behaviour Analyst; Afeez Abdulrasak, an Early Childhood Educator; Whitney Hammel Anny, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst; Remi Olutimayin, a Voice Actor, Thespian and Autism Advocate; and Dr. Eziafakaku Nwokolo, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
Also billed to facilitate are Benedict O. Sama, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Analyst and Researcher; Abiola Taiwo, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist; Lola Dada-Olley, a Lawyer and Autism Advocate; Dr. Torica Exume, an Applied Behaviour Analyst and Autism and Mental Health Specialist; and Damilola Coker, a Mental Health Therapist.
