Popular content creator Jarvis has responded to social media users who have been comparing her to late comic actor John Okafor, describing the comments as body-shaming.
In a video shared online, Jarvis questioned why some users had begun referring to her as “Mr. Ibu” because of her appearance, saying the repeated remarks were hurtful.
The video quickly gained attention on social media, generating mixed reactions. While some users continued to speculate about changes in her appearance, others defended the content creator and urged people to avoid making insensitive comments about another person’s body.
Several commenters called for greater respect in online discussions, arguing that public figures should not be subjected to personal attacks or body-shaming based on their appearance.
Jarvis has not publicly addressed the speculation surrounding her appearance beyond condemning the comparisons and describing them as inappropriate.
