Kebbi Hisbah Arrests 3 Almajiri Pupils For Hard Drugs

Authorities of Hisbah Agency under the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Kebbi State have arrested three underage Qur’anic School pupils popularly called Almajiris for allegedly being in possession of hard drugs.
This was disclosed by the agency’s director of Da’awa and Public Awareness of the, Malam Sirajo Usman Kamba to journalists yesterday in Birnin Kebbi.
He said investigation showed that the suspects were aged between 10, and 13 and were from Niger State and Maiyama local government area of Kebbi State.
Kamba said that the agency has commenced investigation on the involvement of the kids in such bad behaviour from their teacher and parents.
The director however promised to use all necessary measures to protect the children from bad behaviour in the society.
