The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has inducted its staff into the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to promoting a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence.
In her goodwill message, the Director of HSE, Mrs Chinyere Umeh, stated that the Commission remains committed to safeguarding the health and safety of its staff and all visitors across its offices in the Niger Delta, from the moment they enter its premises until they depart.
She noted that, to achieve this, the NDDC Board and Management have continued to support the Department by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while promoting adherence to national and international best practices in occupational health, safety, and environmental management.
