The management team of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has provided a reassuring update on her health, revealing that she is in stable condition and preparing to undergo the first of three planned surgeries.
The actress recently disclosed that she is battling an undisclosed medical condition that requires three major operations, with the total cost of treatment estimated at ₦30 million. She admitted that making her health challenges public was not an easy decision but explained that the surgeries are essential to save her life.
In a fresh statement posted on her official Instagram page, Nwosu’s management thanked Nigerians and supporters across the world for the overwhelming show of love since her appeal became public.
The statement read:
“Dear Nigerians, fans, friends, and everyone who has shown love to our beloved veteran actress, Ngozi Nwosu, thank you. We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, prayers, donations, calls, messages, and kind words received so far. Your generosity has made a tremendous difference.
“We are pleased to share that Ngozi Nwosu is doing well and is currently being prepared for her first surgery, scheduled for sometime next week.
“While we have made meaningful progress, we still need your continued support. Please keep her in your prayers, continue to share her story, and, if you are able, support her financially.”
The management also urged the public to rely only on updates released through the actress’ official team to avoid misinformation.
