RCCG Province 122 Holds Triumphant Night, Celebrates Release Of Oyo Kidnapped Schoolchildren, Teachers

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Province 122, Pace Setter Province, on Friday held the maiden edition of its Triumphant Night programme, themed “Shout Victory,” with special thanksgiving for the safe release of the abducted Oyo State schoolchildren and their teachers.

The event, organised by the provincial choir, brought together worshippers from various parishes and zones for an evening of praise, worship and thanksgiving.

Speaking during the programme, the Provincial Pastor of RCCG Province 122, Pastor Philip Adebambo, expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness to the province and the nation.

He said the church chose to celebrate the successful rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers, describing their release from captivity as a divine intervention.

“We thank God for what He is doing in our province and in Nigeria as a whole. We are especially grateful for the children and their teachers who have just been released from the hands of bandits and kidnappers.

It was a matter of great concern, and we give God all the glory because He intervened and they returned unharmed,” he said.

Adebambo also praised the General Overseer of RCCG, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, popularly known as Daddy G.O., for his unwavering faith and prophetic declarations.

According to him, members of the church had confidence in Adeboye’s assurance that the kidnapped victims would regain their freedom, noting that prayers were offered during the church’s Holy Ghost Service and across RCCG parishes.

“We have seen the hand of God upon Daddy G.O.’s life. Whatever he says, we believe comes from God. When he declared that the children would be released, we were confident it would happen, and we continued praying until the breakthrough came,” Adebambo said.

He also recalled Adeboye’s recent prophetic message urging members to greet one another with “Happy New Year,” saying he believes it signifies the beginning of a new season for Nigeria.

Adebambo expressed hope that the release of the schoolchildren would mark the beginning of the end of banditry and other security challenges confronting the country.
