Sean “Diddy” Combs involved in prison fight, sent to solitary confinement

Sean Diddy Combs is apparently in solitary confinement at a federal prison in New Jersey after a fight with another inmate, according to ABC News, NBC News, and TMZ.

Combs, 55, is currently serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal jail located on a military post outside Philadelphia. According to TMZ, the brawl started after an inmate criticized Combs and was promptly stopped by officials.

Conviction & Sentencing

Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025, following a federal trial that summer. He was convicted of two counts of transportation for prostitution.

Combs was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering counts. He had already received credit for time served while being jailed in New York City prior to his trial.

What’s Next for Combs?

His release date is now set for February 2028, up from April of that year. It’s unclear whether the reported fight will push the date back.
