Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has been thrown into mourning following the death of her niece.
The actress, who is based abroad, shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page, posting a candle emoji alongside an emotional message announcing that her 28-year-old niece had passed away.
Sonia revealed that she had a disturbing feeling ahead of the tragedy and believed it was a premonition about her niece. She said she reached out to her, shared what she had perceived spiritually, and offered guidance on what she felt needed to be done.
According to her, the advice she gave was not fully understood and was eventually dismissed.
The actress explained that she was later devastated when she received a call from her family confirming the death of her niece, Blessing.
Despite her grief, Sonia expressed gratitude to God for the life her niece lived, noting that although the loss came at a young age, she believes life and death ultimately belong to God.
She also prayed for the peaceful repose of her niece’s soul, admitting she was still struggling to process the painful reality.
