“Jersey Shore” fan-favorite Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed in February 2026 that she had been diagnosed with stage one cervical cancer. Since then, the 38-year-old has been vulnerable about her diagnosis and, most recently, shared that she’s undergoing a hysterectomy.

Snooki took to her official TikTok page in July 2026, telling her fans that she’d realized she’d failed to give a health update as she appeared to be in a doctor’s office. After that, the “Jersey Shore” star could be seen in her car having undergone blood work leading up to her hysterectomy.

Snooki began, “So, I last left off with you guys saying that I was diagnosed with stage one cervical cancer and then I didn’t tell you what happened next.”

She then described a recent appointment by saying, “So, I get there, and they put me in the room, like get me ready. I get there, and the nurse comes in with a big suitcase. I had no idea they inject you with radioactive material. So, she opens this suitcase and gets this big a-s needle out, and I’m like, ‘f-ck me.’ I hate needles.”

The good news for Snooki is that the PET Scan revealed that her cancer had not spread. Now, the latest is that she’s set to have a hysterectomy. According to her, “My surgery is very soon. I’m trying not to think about it or freak out. But like, I’m losing an organ. Right, it’s an organ? Your uterus, cervix thing? Yeah. OK.”

The beloved reality star continued her update by acknowledging the support she’s received from fans since revealing that she had cancer in February. She stated, “I appreciate your love and support and concern for me. It makes me feel loved, and it’s helping me through this and all of your advice and what you’re going through.”

The “Jersey Shore” star continued, “I know a lot of you women are going through this with me, so I love that we have each other to just talk to each other about all the sh-t. “

She added, “I love you, and the next update video will be my hysterectomy.”

Roughly two months after vulnerably sharing with the world that she’d been diagnosed with stage one cervical adenocarcinoma, Snooki opened up about her condition in an in-depth “Good Morning America” interview.

Regarding her decision to share the news of having cancer, Snooki stated, “Yeah, so, I don’t know, it took me a while… I feel I need to share it, because nobody talks about this, so [I] have to.” Additionally, she spoke about her initial reaction to receiving the scary news about her health.

According to the mom of three, “I was terrified. I was hysterically crying in my car. Like, what am I gonna do? I have three kids. I gotta do my will. I haven’t done my will yet. I’m like thinking about all these things.”

She continued, “I have the cervical cancer where it can travel to my lymph nodes. So I have to monitor, like, be aware of this my whole life.” Snooki also shared at the time that doctors were encouraging her to schedule a hysterectomy. However, she admitted, “I’m not gonna lie. I’m scared.”

For Snooki, at the time, undergoing a hysterectomy represented a loss. She explained, “I hated it when [the doctor] first said, ‘We have to do this, or it’s gonna escalate to stage two. I know I’m done with kids … just knowing that you can’t and knowing that, you know, you’re losing that, I don’t know, it made me feel like I’m not a mom.”

Snooki Previously Discussed How Her Diagnoses Impacted Her Children

The “Jersey Shore” star continued her “Good Morning America” interview by discussing how being diagnosed with cancer had impacted her children.

According to her, “They keep asking, ‘Are you dying? Like, are you dying today?’ And I’m like, ‘No, I’m not dying, I am just sick, and I need to figure it out and then mommy will be fine.”

She added, “So my little one thinks I’m dying. But my oldest ones, I feel like they know what’s going on.” Regarding Snooki’s kids, she shares them with her husband, Jionni LaValle; their ages are: 7, 11, and 13.
