Transfer: Super Eagles winger signs new contract with Bulgarian club, Botev Plodiv

Nigerian winger Samuel Kalu has signed a new contract with Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv until 2029.
Kalu was previously linked with a move away from the Yellow and Blacks, with another Bulgarian side, Levski Sofia, and a host of Swiss clubs said to be interested in his services.
Botev Plovdiv have however moved to tie him down at the club for the next three years.
The 28-year-old joined the two-time Bulgarian champions last summer after leaving Sky Bet Championship club, Watford.
Kalu made 26 appearances across all competitions for Botev Plovdiv last season, registering two goals.
The talented winger previous clubs include AS Trenčín, KAA Gent, Girondins Bordeaux and Watford.
