WAFCON 2026: Ijamilusi arrives camp as Super Falcons await final two players

Forward Folashade Ijamilusi has arrived Super Falcons’ Hotel Marriott base in Casablanca, Morocco, DAILY POST reports.

Ijamilusi’s arrival increased the number of players in the team’s camp to 23 as they intensify preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Liaoning Shenyang Shenbei Hefeng of China star played a key role in the Super Falcons’ successful outing at the WAFCON 2024 finals.

The former Edo Queens striker scored twice in the competition, including the 3-2 final victory over Atlas Lionesses of Morocco.

Midfielder Deborah Abiodun and forward Gift Monday are the only two players yet to arrive at the Super Falcons’ training camp.

The duo have been delayed after their scheduled flight from the United States was cancelled due to technical issues.

Abiodun, and Monday are however expected to arrive camp on Wednesday.

The Super Falcons will leave Casablanca for Rabat, where they will player all their group stage matches on Friday.
