Flying Eagles head coach Abdu Maikaba says his team will go all out for a win against Ghana, DAILY POST reports.
The defending champions will open their title defence at the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship against the Black Satellites at the Lycée Scientifique de Yamoussoukro on Monday.
The highly anticipated encounter will kick-off at 2pm local time (3pm Nigeria time).
It will be a repeat of last edition’s final at the Stade Kegue in Lome which the Flying Eagles won 2-1.
Maikaba declared that the Flying Eagles want to win the title for the third consecutive time.
“We are going for an outright victory against Ghana because our objective is to retain the trophy and we have to start winning our matches from Day One,” Maikaba told thenff.com.
