World Cup 2026: He’s dangerous in one area – Unai Simon warns Spain about Ronaldo

Spain goalkeeper, Unai Simon, has warned his team about one area where Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo is dangerous.

Portugal will face Spain in the World Cup Round of 16 fixture next week.

Portugal had defeated Croatia in the Round of 32, while Spain had won against Austria.

Speaking ahead of the encounter between Portugal and Spain, Simon insisted that Ronaldo, 41, is dangerous in the area that he only needs one moment on the pitch of play despite his advancing age.

“Cristiano? Of course, he isn’t the same player he was 5 or 6 years ago, but he remains dangerous in the area where he only needs that one moment,” Simon said as quoted by Madrid Xtra.

Ronaldo has so far scored three goals at the World Cup after four matches.
