World Cup 2026: Paul Scholes names biggest advantage Argentina have over England

Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has named the ‘biggest advantage’ Argentina have over England ahead of both sides’ World Cup semi-final fixture on Wednesday.
Both Argentina and England qualified for the World Cup last-4 after beating Switzerland and Norway in the quarter-final stage.
Speaking on The Good, The Bat & The Football podcast, Scholes said Lionel Scaloni’s side knows how to win big games in tournaments compared to the Three Lions.
“I think the path for England and Argentina has been very similar,” Scholes said.
“I don’t think either team has played that well, but they have gotten through games.
“I think the biggest thing, the biggest advantage for Argentina, is they have done it before and they know how to win these big games in tournaments. We are yet to prove that,” the former England midfielder added.
