All roads lead to Abuja as Balami clocks 42

All is now set for the grand celebration of the 42nd birthday of aviation entrepreneur and philanthropist, Isaac Balami, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The celebration, being organised by a coalition of young professionals and supporters of Balami, is expected to bring together distinguished Nigerians, aviation professionals, entrepreneurs, youths and other stakeholders to celebrate his contributions to aviation, education, entrepreneurship, philanthropy and nation-building.
The organisers had earlier announced the programme at a media parley, describing the celebration as an opportunity to recognise Balami’s contributions to youth empowerment, indigenous capacity development and public service.
Activities lined up for the celebration include recognition ceremonies, goodwill messages, humanitarian outreach and youth engagement, among others.
A major highlight of the event will be the inauguration of the Council of Mentors and the induction of 42 distinguished Nigerians into the council in recognition of their contributions to national development and their shared commitment to values associated with Balami’s vision.
The organising committee said the celebration would also provide an opportunity to highlight some of the initiatives and interventions associated with Balami over the years.
According to the organisers, Balami’s previous birthday celebrations were marked by empowerment initiatives, including support for more than 160 aviation workers during his 40th and 41st birthday celebrations.
His foundation has also supported the education of more than 600 children through scholarship initiatives, further underscoring his commitment to youth development and human capital investment.
The organisers said the 42nd birthday celebration would go beyond a conventional birthday event, describing it as a platform to celebrate impact, inspire young Nigerians and promote conversations around national development.
The event is expected to feature distinguished guests, music, and goodwill messages as well as activities aimed at encouraging young people to pursue innovation, entrepreneurship and meaningful contributions to society.
