Embattled American rapper, Durk Banks, popularly known as Lil Durk, has shared a playlist of the songs he’s been listening to in jail to motivate himself.
The rapper, who is currently remanded in a correctional centre over an alleged murder-for-hire case, shared the playlist on social media.
Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Tems’ hit song, ‘Free Mind’, topped the list.
‘Nightmares to Dreams’ by Meek Mill, ‘Some How Some Way’ by Jay-Z, ‘Changes’ by 2Pac, ‘I Wish’ by 21 Savage, and ‘Freedom Time’ by Lauryn Hill, also made the cut.
Also on the playlist are Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m The Problem’, Fridayy’s ‘Baddest In The Room’, Jadakiss’ ‘Still Feel Me’, Kanye West’ ‘Everything I Am’, and Lil Baby’s ‘Dead Fresh.
Lil Durk is facing trial for allegedly orchestrating a murder-for-hire revenge plot targeting Quando Rondo. The trial began on August 20, 2026.
