The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Osun State, Alhaji Isa Azeez, has urged voters to remain at their polling units after casting their ballots and ensure their votes are properly counted during the August 15 governorship election.
Speaking at the party’s grand rally in Osogbo on Saturday, the chairman said protecting the vote is the only way to guarantee that the will of the people prevails.
He also said the ADC is not collaborating with any political party ahead of the poll.
He told the crowd that reports of attempts to manipulate results and prematurely end voting in some areas made it necessary for electorates to be vigilant.

According to him, party agents will be deployed across the 30 local government areas, but the presence of voters at polling units and collation centres remains critical to stopping any form of electoral malpractice.
