UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is considering launching a public inquiry into the activities of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in Britain, Victims Minister Alex Davies-Jones said on Wednesday.
Speaking to the BBC, Davies-Jones said Burnham was “looking into” the possibility of an inquiry and had agreed to meet with Epstein’s victims.
“I have been assured that the prime minister is taking this very seriously,” she said, adding that Burnham is reviewing what action can be taken now that he has access to official government information.
