Ghanaian Nurse Records Moment She Nearly Got Kidnapped In Broad Daylight At Ankaful, Cape Coast 

A Ghanaian nurse undergoing her clinicals in Ankaful, Cape Coast, has shared how she narrowly escaped a possible kidnapping attempt after a strange car offered her a lift.

According to her account, she had stepped out to buy eggs to resell to her colleagues, since food options around the hospital are limited, when she encountered a vehicle.

She said the vehicle started following and monitoring her every step of the way which got her frightened but decided to act normal to make it not obvious to them that she’s a novice in the area.

Eventually, the car drove near and offered her a ride. Upon noticing other men already seated inside, she immediately became suspicious, declined the offer, and quickly ran back to safety.

She has since taken to social media to caution other young women and health workers to remain vigilant, especially when approached by unfamiliar vehicles offering rides, particularly in less populated areas.

Her account has sparked concern online, with many social media users urging authorities to increase security patrols around the area and calling on students and health workers on placement in similar communities to exercise extra caution.
