Khloé Kardashian ‘Wouldn’t Care’ If Sister Kim Hooked Up with Tristan Thompson: ‘I Want You With The Best Person That I Could Think Of’
Khloé Kardashian is so over her relationship with Tristan Thompson that she wouldn’t care if one of the closest people to her followed in her footsteps for some sloppy seconds.
The first episode of Hulu’s new reality series The Girls revealed an interesting take from the Good American founder.
The show is centered around some of the Kardashians’ closest friends, including Nicole Williams English, Olivia Pierson, Natalie Halcro, Yris Palmer, Khadijah and Malika Haqq. During a conversation with some of the girls on the show’s inaugural episode, Khloé admitted that she wouldn’t mind if her sister hooked up with her ex.
Khloé’s comment was in response to Pierson discussing the blind date she went on with Palmer’s ex-husband. She said her “first thought” when she saw who she was at dinner with was, “[That’s] Yris’ ex. I don’t go there.”
Khadijah responded by saying it was different because Pierson had “permission to go there,” because Palmer was the one who set up the date.
“I wouldn’t care if Kim hooked up with Tristan,” Khloé interjected. “If I gave permission, I give permission. The baton is passed.”
Malika said that the idea of Kim hooking up with the NBA player is “a little gross,” and Khloé added, “Well, I’m not saying that actually.”
“I’m just saying, when you’re really like — that chapter is closed, I have love and respect and you have a great relationship,” Kardashian explained, “I wanna see you happy, so I want you with the best person that I could think of.”
Khloé and Tristan dated on and off from 2016 until 2021. Together, they share daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 4. The co-parents were on-again, off-again during the five-year period due to multiple cheating scandals on Thompson’s part.
Their relationship finally ended in January 2022 after Khloé discovered that Thompson had fathered a child with another woman while they were still together. Shortly after, Kardashian revealed that she would be welcoming a second child with Thompson via surrogate.
So, while Khloé doesn’t have any emotional qualms about Tristan dateing someone close to her, she might not recommend him to someone in her family.
