Married Woman Warns Couples Against Letting Social Media Advice Ruin Their Marriages

A Nigerian married woman has advised couples to be careful about allowing social media opinions and relationship trends to influence their marriages.

In a video circulating online, the woman said she would continue to respect and support her husband regardless of what people say about marriage on the internet.

She warned that constantly following relationship advice online could create unnecessary problems between couples.

“If you like, allow social media to destroy your marriage for you. Let me tell you, you see my husband, I will respect him to the fullest,” she said.

The woman also said she was willing to meet her husband’s needs despite what others might think or say.

“Anything he wants, I will give it to him. I don’t care what people have to say,” she stated.

She noted that social media has made it common for people to publicly declare the things they would never do for their spouses.

According to her, however, some people who make such statements online may still make sacrifices for their partners in private.

“Let me tell you, deep down those people are doing it,” she added.

To demonstrate how far she was willing to go for her husband, the woman said she would donate one of her kidneys if he ever needed it.

“You see me, if my husband needs my kidney, I will give it to him,” she said.

She went further to say she would even consider giving both kidneys if necessary.

“Yes, that’s the bare minimum. I can give my husband my kidney, even if he wants the two,” she stated.

Her comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with many debating the role of social media in shaping people’s expectations about marriage and the sacrifices partners should make for each other.
