Mr P alleges Jude Okoye threatened him over US property dispute

Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has made fresh allegations against his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, claiming he once threatened him during a dispute over a property owned by the former P-Square group in the United States.

Mr P made the allegation in the fifth episode of his video series, where he continued to narrate events surrounding the breakdown of their relationship.

“This incident happened early 2015, it started making sense to me after EFCC told me everything. Why the sudden attack?” Mr P said.

According to the singer, the incident occurred in 2015 after the brothers had agreed to share their properties, including a duplex in the United States.

Mr P claimed the dispute began after he was informed that his share of the US property had been put up for sale without his knowledge.

He alleged that when he confronted Jude over the decision at a music event, the situation turned hostile.

“He told me to get out of his front before he slapped me. He wanted to beat me up before other artistes stepped in,” Mr P alleged.

The singer also dismissed claims that Jude financially invested in P-Square, insisting that their elder brother, Henry, was the one who supported the group during its early years.

Mr P further claimed he later discovered documents allegedly prepared to transfer his ownership interest in the US property to Jude’s wife, Ifeoma Omokeke.

According to him, he refused to sign the documents after discovering the proposed ownership change.

Mr P further alleged that Jude claimed to have majority control of the group’s assets and insisted he could force him out of the business.
