Musiala collapses during Bayern Munich’s game with Leipzig

Bayern Munich midfielder, Jamal Musiala, collapsed during his team’s pre-season friendly with RB Leipzig on Saturday.

The match was being played under temperatures as high as 33 degrees.

Musiala appeared to have suffered from the heat during the closing stages.

The Germany international had entered the game in the second half and even scored the third goal for Bayern.

However, not long after getting the score sheet, Musiala appeared to be unsteady on his feet, something that was noticed by Saibari, who came to his aid.

Both Saibari and Joshua Kimmich managed to catch Musiala before he collapsed to the ground, gently lowering him down.

Medical staff were immediately on hand to provide treatment as teammates gathered round.

Musiala was subsequently able to rise to his feet and leave the pitch, accompanied by members of the Bayern medical staff, as he was replaced by Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.
