The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has been ordered to produce Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, the socialite popularly known as ‘KC Luxury’, in court.
The order was issued by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Thursday.
The order followed the NDLEA’s failure to formally charge and arraign him within 14 days of his arrest.
Recall that on August 18, 2026, the NDLEA announced the arrest of the Lagos-based socialite over a 184.5kg cocaine consignment valued at about N39 billion.
KC Luxury was arrested at the Lagos airport while allegedly attempting to flee Nigeria for Paris.
The order followed an ex parte application filed by KC Luxury through his counsel, A. Labi-Lawal, SAN, under the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement Procedure) Rules, 2009.
