NPP Headquarters Turns To Battlegrounds As Party Supporters Clash With Security Over Petition Presentation

Tension has erupted at the National Headquarters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after some supporters from the Ayawaso Central Constituency were prevented from entering the party’s premises to join their constituency executives in presenting a petition.

In a video circulating on social media, a heated confrontation is seen between some party supporters and security personnel stationed at the entrance of the party office.

The supporters, who were reportedly seeking access to accompany their constituency executives, expressed displeasure after they were denied entry, leading to a tense exchange at the gate.

The constituency executives had arrived at the party headquarters to present a petition, although details of the petition and the issues being raised were not immediately clear.

Security personnel attempted to control the situation as emotions reportedly heightened among some of the supporters.

The incident has sparked discussions among party members, with calls for calm and dialogue to address internal concerns within the constituency.
