As the Olu of Warri Kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR marks the fifth anniversary of his ascension to the revered throne of his forebears, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, Dr. Hope George, has paid glowing tribute to the monarch, describing his reign as a remarkable era of visionary leadership, peace, cultural renaissance and purposeful development.
In a congratulatory message issued to commemorate the royal milestone, Dr. George felicitates with the Olu of Warri, the royal family, traditional chiefs and the entire people of the Warri Kingdom, noting that the monarch has, within five years, elevated the prestige of the ancient kingdom through wisdom, diplomacy, humility and an unwavering commitment to the progress of his people.
According to him, Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR has distinguished himself as a royal father whose influence extends beyond traditional leadership, serving as a bridge between heritage and modern development while fostering unity, peaceful coexistence and strategic partnerships that continue to benefit the Warri Kingdom and Delta State.
Dr. George stated that the monarch’s reign has inspired renewed confidence in the traditional institution, strengthened the preservation of Itsekiri culture and values, and projected the Warri Kingdom as a respected voice in national discourse.
He further commended the Olu’s commitment to youth development, education, women empowerment, community harmony and sustainable socio-economic advancement, saying these initiatives have earned him admiration across Nigeria and beyond.
“The fifth coronation anniversary of His Majesty is not merely a celebration of years on the throne but a celebration of impactful leadership, visionary kingship and selfless service to humanity. His reign has continued to promote peace, unity and inclusive development across the Warri Kingdom,” Dr. George said.
The Governor’s aide prayed for divine wisdom, sound health and greater accomplishments for the revered monarch, expressing confidence that the years ahead would usher in even greater prosperity, stability and progress for the kingdom under his leadership.
