Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday, took a swipe at Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, over what he described as a lack of respect for fellow governors.
Adeleke spoke during the Arise TV Town Hall Meeting for candidates participating in the August 15 governorship election in the state.
NAIJAONPOINT report that Okpebholo, while speaking at the APC campaign rally, which was also attended by Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Okpebholo questioned Adeleke’s leadership style and suggested his dancing distracted him from governance.
“Before somebody signs paper, he will dance. Are you not tired? For four years, this man has been dancing. Before he takes breakfast, before he drinks tea, he will dance,” the Edo governor said.
Okpebholo also urged voters to collect money from political opponents but vote for the APC candidate in the August 15 governorship election.
But Adelek,e during the town hall meeting, hit back at his colleague, describing him as uncivilised.
According to him, “It is only an uncivilised Governor like Okpebholo that will go to another state and not pay homage to the incumbent Governor of such state.”

Adeleke said he had always respected governors when visiting their states.
“I’ve never been to another state without giving mutual regard and respect to the home state Governor,” he added.
