Pragya Rider And Passenger Turn Highway Into Boxing Arena As They Trade Blows Over High Fare

A physical fight has broken out between an autorickshaw (Pragya) rider and a Nigerian man along a highway after a disagreement over transport fare escalated out of control.

According to reports, the man had hired the rider to take him from Kumasi to Techiman for GH¢50.

However, after travelling some distance, the rider reportedly realised the journey was farther than initially estimated and demanded additional payment.

The passenger refused to pay the extra amount, leading to a heated exchange that quickly turned physical.

The confrontation played out in the middle of the highway, with both vehicles and pedestrians passing by throughout the altercation.

Despite the public setting, no one intervened to separate the two men or attempt to de-escalate the situation.

The video of the incident has since circulated online, sparking conversation about fare disputes between commercial riders and passengers, as well as concerns over public safety and the lack of intervention during the altercation.
