A man has publicly criticised Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, accusing him of attempting to manipulate public opinion and emotionally blackmail people amid the ongoing issues involving the Okoye brothers.

In a statement making the rounds online, the man claimed that Paul was allegedly trying to “gaslight the public” rather than allowing people to form their own opinions about the situation.

He also defended Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, arguing that Peter had not made any offensive comments about their mother despite the family disagreements.

According to him, their mother may have her own faults, but Peter had chosen not to publicly speak negatively about her.

“Paul Okoye trying to gaslight the public, he’s trying to use emotional blackmail on us. Peter did not even say anything bad about the mother, despite the fact that the mother too get one or two,” he said.

The man went on to express his disappointment in Paul, saying he would not want someone with his alleged attitude as a brother.

“Shame on you Paul and I don’t wish to have someone like you as my brother,” he added.

His comments have sparked reactions online, with social media users weighing in on the long-running disagreements between the famous brothers.
