The Ghana Police Service has arrested two men following the alleged theft of 30 goats at Sekyeredumase in the Ashanti Region.
The suspects reportedly loaded the animals into a Toyota Voxy vehicle and attempted to transport them out of the community before their plans were disrupted.
Police officers who reportedly spotted the suspicious movement pursued the vehicle and succeeded in apprehending the two suspects.
All 30 goats were subsequently recovered.
The suspects are currently assisting the police with investigations as authorities work to determine how the animals were allegedly stolen and trace their rightful owners.
The incident has sparked reactions in the community, with residents praising the police for their prompt response and successful recovery of the animals.
