Warri Wolves assistant coach Austin Johnny has declared the club fully prepared for the upcoming 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, stating that the team is equipped with the necessary manpower, technicality, and experience to achieve a successful campaign .
With the league kick-off days away, Johnny emphasised that the Seasiders have put the required structures in place and expressed confidence in the assembled squad.
“We are confident and well-equipped for the task ahead as a team. Our mission is simple – to finish on a high note!” he told the club’s media.
The young tactician’s remarks come as the club, under Coordinator Azubuike Egwuekwe, looks to improve on a 13th-place finish from the previous season .
Warri Wolves will begin their campaign with a challenging away fixture against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
