A video showing a group of young men giving their deceased friend what they described as a final farewell has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

The group moved around with the body placed on the plywood, lifting it above their heads as they appeared to pay their last respects.

At some point in the video, the body was seen being placed on the ground before they carried it again, with the heavy rainfall not stopping their actions.

The unusual display attracted attention from onlookers, with some recording the moment and sharing it online.

In some Ghanaian communities, elaborate funeral practices and unique ways of bidding farewell to loved ones are common. Such acts are often viewed as expressions of love, grief, and respect for the deceased.
