Yari’s Campaign DG Appointment boost to Tinubu’s election victory – Kebbi Apc chieftain
By Yarima Haruna, Birnin Kebbi
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kebbi State, Alhaji Aminulah Mustapha, has described the appointment of Senator Abdulaziz Yari as Director-General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 campaign as timely and a major boost to the President’s re-election bid and the ruling party’s chances at the polls.
Aminulah, in a statement on Tuesday, said there could hardly have been a better choice than the former Zamfara State governor, given his political influence and extensive connections across the country, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
He noted that Yari’s appointment would galvanise political forces across the North, West, East and South to forge a common front capable of confronting the opposition from all directions.
“President Tinubu’s decision in this regard is superb and a major boost to the party’s victory at the polls. It will also help unite the party across tribal, regional and religious lines. We welcome the appointment and will rally behind him,” he said.

Aminulah urged political blocs across the country to cooperate with Yari’s campaign team to secure victory for the APC and President Tinubu in 2027.
He said the continuation of the APC administration for another four years would enable President Tinubu to consolidate the gains recorded so far across various sectors of the Nigerian economy and society.
The APC chieftain added that Yari enjoys considerable support among political heavyweights across the country, citing the former governor’s bid for the presidency of the 10th Senate as evidence of his broad political network and influence.
“Yari has a strong network of supporters among political bigwigs and the masses due to his experience in the political space and his philanthropic gestures,” Aminulah said.
