Former Real Madrid midfielder, Guti has named England’s Harry Kane, France’s Kylian Mbappe and Spain’s Rodri as his top three favourites to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Guti also admitted he specifically wants Mbappe to win the Ballon d’Or because he plays for Real Madrid.
He said, as quoted by El Partidazo de COPE: “It’s going to be between Harry Kane, Mbappe and Rodri.
“I want Mbappe to win the Ballon d’Or because he plays for Real Madrid.”
The 2026 Ballon d’Or award winner will be announced next month at the London Palladium Theatre in London.
30 players, including Kane, Mbappe and Rodri, have already been shortlisted for the award.
