  • The comment has sparked controversy among fans and followers.

Controversial Nigerian streamer Carter Efe has taken a swipe at DJ Tunez, the official disc jockey for Afrobeats star Wizkid.

Carter Efe made the remark during a recent livestream while warning his fans against comparing him with the popular DJ.

The streamer went as far as making an allegation about DJ Tunez’s personal hygiene, insisting that he should not be placed on the same level as him.

“You guys should never compare DJ Tunez, who puts on dirty boxers, to me again,” he fumed.

Carter Efe has previously been vocal about his grievances with Wizkid and members of his team over what he described as a lack of recognition following the release of his viral tribute song, “Machala,” dedicated to the singer.

According to the streamer, while Wizkid and his team did not acknowledge or appreciate his efforts at the time, Davido, one of Wizkid’s biggest rivals, later showed him support.

Carter Efe has repeatedly credited Davido with playing a significant role in changing his life after the singer embraced and supported him financially.

In other news… Nigerian singer Davolee has sparked conversations online after commenting on the growing financial expectations some people face within their families.

In an Instagram Story shared on his page, the singer described the situation as if belonging to one’s own family now comes with a financial requirement.

“you now need money to become a member of your own family. It’s called family membership subscription fees”

His remark has generated reactions from social media users, with some agreeing that relatives can sometimes treat family members differently based on their financial situation.
