Tejuosho was previously declared wanted by the anti-graft agency over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.
In April 2026, the EFCC said it was seeking Tejuosho, 41, in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged fraud-related offences. The commission also appealed to members of the public with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
The City Boy Movement subsequently suspended her from her position as South-West zonal coordinator of its women’s wing, saying the action would remain in effect pending the conclusion of the EFCC investigation.
The latest reports circulating online claim that Tejuosho has now been arrested by the EFCC.
She had previously faced EFCC questioning in 2025 following complaints over alleged schemes involving federal appointments and government contracts. According to reports, victims alleged that she used purported appointment letters and other documents to obtain money from them. Tejuosho has denied wrongdoing and previously offered her own account of the matter.
As of the time of filing this report, the commission had not publicly issued a fresh statement independently confirming the reported arrest.
